Is it recommended to use a application packager / repackager solution with KACE SMA

With previous software deployment solutions there was a software repackager application that copied the install process then created a package with all required settings and we then pushed out the application to Windows devices. Is this necessary or recommended for deploying and updating applications with KACE SMA. We have had a number of applications that there is no uninstaller or the uninstaller does not work. Having a repackaging tool that would install and uninstall the app would solve this. Is there even a product that works with KACE SMA for this or is it unnecessary?

you can use one or more.
But usually it is better to create your packaging by yourself (I did not stumble upon a package in the last 25 years which is not "manually packable", but there may be some out there) instead of being dependend on a product.
KACE works well with IT Ninja Repackager (see communities) and PACE, but you can use anything you want to create the packages to deploy. Sometimes simply taking packaging tool of the vendor of your software (or the KB how to do this) and zip the installer and the managing files and then just let the KACE run it.

For many software items you can use the ITNinja - Software section.
