Is there a way to deploy the SCCM 2007 Client in a K2000 image?

Would like to know if I can deploy SCCM2007 client install to already captured image.

Answer Summary:
Just create a task sequence to install the client after the image is deployed.

  • I'd like to see some notes on those who are using the K2 for deploying images and SCCM for deploying packages such like SCEP and others AFTER the full image process is done by the K2. We have an issue where SCCM is not populating the Site Code which I feel is more on the SCCM side of things but have to work with my System Engineer who indicates we should deploy a SCCM client as a post installation task... thoughts or guidace is appreciated.

I assume you are using SCCM for Operating System Deployment?  If so just create a task sequence to install the client after the image is layed down...

  • We have Kace2000 and deploying images through it and was wondering if there is a way to either include SCCM Client in the base image itself or deploy its installation through KACE's post install task?
