IT Ninja Grandmaster Award
Before taking this to kace.uservoice.com and requesting a specific award for grandmaster, I thought maybe the members of IT Ninja should settle on some good ideas to vote on. What's your awesome idea for a Grandmaster award? Keep in mind that no budget currently exists for this. That could be a good thing or a bad thing. Keep it real, keep it fun, and most importantly keep it true to IT Ninja!

How about - high ranking contributors be invited to the Kace Konference. You would just have to pay for airfare.

It is great idea to keep motivation high.. Also more levels are recommended..
Something unique. A lot of people have left the Grandmaster level behind and are high on points. Something more rewarding will keep this forum going places.
I think the kind of ideas we should come up with should accomplish these things.
1) Promote IT Ninja within our respective departments as a resource.
2) Show that IT Ninja is a credible resource.
3) Show a level of prestige to go with the rank of "Grandmaster."
4) Be something totally unique that can be present in any sysadmin's cube or desk.
Sorry to redirect so late, but swords, throwing stars, and other weapon like items probably won't work for everyone. What is something that every sysadmin can use that could be branded with IT Ninja and maybe personalized with our user names on the site? Should only the first 50 or 100 grandmasters get them? These are things we should consider as Dell will probably only fund it if it's realistic.
How about a shadow box like this but customized to hold a black belt that you already have and a new red belt for grandmaster. The red belt could have your IT Ninja username embroidered onto it, and the certificate at the top would be signed by Bob Kelly.
