K1000: Our asset records are changing randomly

We have noticed asset records being changed to previous users randomly.

Has anyone ever had this issue? We think it has something to do with the k1000 making duplicate records of freshly imaged machines.

1- If you are using custom made sql rules in the service desk. Watch out with those

2- you may have computers with duplicated kuid or duplicated BIOS names... Kind of hard to troubleshoot here.

What are your settings for matching assets to inventory (check under Assets, Asset Types, Computer). - chucksteel 6 years ago
