K1000 Reports question - How to set a default "View By" report type

I am mostly concerned with the help desk or service desk reporting right now and I was wondering if there is a way to set a default report type filter so that I don't have to always be clicking on View By: and selecting Help desk.  Much like you can have a default queue, is there a way to have a default landing spot for your report selections?

  • Currently there isn't a way to set a default. All reports are shown and then either searched for or the "view by" is used to get to a specific category.

I'm assuming that you are using the admin console by going to kaceurl/admin. If you instead go to kaceurl/adminui you will be able to bookmark specific URLs. This will allow you to set the View By to Service Desk and bookmark that URL:
