K1000 - Tips on Creating Report Scripts
I am new to SQL, and have been tasked with compliance reporting for our patches. I have tried to go through the archives here, but am unable to find the scripts that I need. I am looking to create 2 separate scripts. The first would show what CRITICAL patches were downloaded for the month. The Second would show which computers received these patches and whether the install was successful or not. I was wondering if anyone out there have already created scripts like these or could offer tips on how to write them? Thank you for your help

So you don't want to see all the patches applied to machines, just the statuses of patches labeled "critical" that were downloaded in the past month? That would mean the report wouldn't show you critical patches that were applied where the patches are older than a month. - JasonEgg 6 years ago

By "for the month" do you mean "only during the current month" or "since a month ago"? E.G. today is the 3rd of May so "current month" would only give you patches from the last three days, while "since a month ago" would concern patches from April 3rd to May 3rd. - JasonEgg 6 years ago
