K2000 Newbie

Hello,

We have a K2000 box we bought a while back but it was never setup due to other projects going on during that time.

So now i'm trying to get setup.  I have our K2000 up to the newest version 3.6.  I have uploaded some source media.  It's linked to our K1000 box as well.  I have a wim already created i guess how do i get it uploaded to the kbox.  Is there a good getting started article i should read or a video that would help me along. This year i need to replace a few hundred computers.  With our Help desk staff only being 6 of us that manage 1700 computers between 25 locations and 3700 users.  I know the odds aren't great but k1000 has helped us huge with updating computers and pushing out software.  So if we get k2000 going i think we can be in good shape.

Again any kind of help would be great.

There is alot of information out there to get you started.  I would suggest you have a look at our KKE's (kace kontinuing education) archives at

http://www.kace.com/support/training/kke/archive

You will find alot of great topics on the k2000 there you can view.

You can also attend a live session.  There is a Q&A session at the end.

The k2000 documentation is very good as well.

as far as your WIM goes...deploy it to a machine...use our sysprep creator and upload it to the k2000

You can also request your K2000 JumpStart recordings at https://www.kace.com/support/training/jumpstart/recording-request

They would specifically apply to 3.6, but many of the tools and concepts remain the same.
