K2000 Windows 10 1809 Sysprep Errors

We are trying to capture an image from latest build of windows 1809(build 17763.107).  However when we do, we get the following errors in setuperr.log located in windows>system32>sysprep> panther > setuperr.log

2018-12-18 02:15:27, Error                 TOOL   BCD: BiUpdateEfiEntry failed c000000d
2018-12-18 02:15:27, Error                 TOOL   BCD: BiExportBcdObjects failed c000000d
2018-12-18 02:15:27, Error                 TOOL   BCD: BiExportStoreAlterationsToEfi failed c000000d
2018-12-18 02:15:27, Error                 TOOL   BCD: Failed to export alterations to firmware. Status: c000000d

We have done everything as far as upgrading the k2000 to the latest, created a new KBE, as well as full install on a vm to capture an image.  Has anyone seen this when trying to capture the image for 1809 leveraging the k2000?

Hi

That is a Windows error, so that means your KBE or Sysprep Creator and the KACE SDA are out of the formula.

Sysprep is a tool inside the Windows OS, and Sysprep creator just helps you to not deal with CMD, if you want you could open CMD as admin, and call for Sysprep from there, probably the same error will arise.

I'm just saying this to save you some time, and focus the troubleshooting towards the OS and\or ISO being used.

This guy had the same issue using SCCM to Image:

According to the error code, please refer to the steps in the link below to check.

Please make sure your Image is not OEM but Volume Licensed:

Also don't forget to read the setupact.log file, it may point to the culprit.
