Kace 1000 Virtual Appliance DEMO on ESX - can you attach a NAS for storage?

Hi, I am trying out the virtual appliance but it wants 500GB which I don't have to give....can I point the appliance to store the data on a NAS CIFS share ?

If you're deploying the .OVF template they provide, it will require a 500GB datastore to use on the ESX server. They used to provide a 250GB .OVF, so you could inquire at http://www.kace.com/support/customer/tech-support to see if they could provide you with that image, which would cut your space requirement in half.

Also, files like patch downloads cannot be offloaded from the main server share, so there is need for storage space on the server itself for any of those files, FYI.
