kace service excessive cpu consumption
hello. on some computers I have kswmetersvc.exe excessive consumption process. this kace1000 updated with the latest version of server and agent.

The metering service causes issues with managed installs; FYI. Kace has confirmed this and had indicated 6.0 should fix the issues. Even with metering disabled the process still runs. We have killed the process via a gpo. Basically our managed installs fall as a result of file access conflicts. When you run process explorer you find the metering service is placing holds on all sorts of files. - Jbr32 10 years ago
