KACE v5.3: Need .xml from MacBook to add the machine to the inventory manually
I am trying to maually add a MacBook Pro running OS X (10.8.4) to my KACE inventory. I have tried the instructions located within the Administrators guide and was able to create the machine.xml file. When I tried to import it into my inventory I get the message "Invalid machine XML file"
Any suggestions?

Is it not possible to install the K1000 agent on the MBP, have it check in, and then uninstall the agent? - mpace 10 years ago
