Anybody had any luck getting this working. When I attempted to provision it the first time it failed saying .net 1.1 wasn't installed so I manually did that. Windows 7 complained a little about .net 1.1 saying it wasn't compatible with IIS on my system but it installed ok. After that I was able to provision the client with no errors but the amp connection never connected.

Kace Certified EngineerI believe they're still testing agent behaviors on 7 - I would expect things to be better after the 7 GA release. (personal opinion only)

      I'm finding that I can force a check in, but automatic check in and requesting it from the console do not work.

    Has there been any update on the release of a Windows 7 compatible agent?
    When it arrives, will the agent be compatible with UAC?

    Yes, this is starting to get to be a headache, I have about 20 installs of Windows 7 now.

    Hello,

    I have downloaded the new client, but cannot get it to provision on a Windows 7 machine. I get the following error:

    Product: KACE -- Error 1925. You do not have sufficient privileges to complete this installation for all users of the machine. Log on as administrator and then retry this installation.

    I am running the provision using an admin account. Apparently it cannot get past the Windows 7 UAC feature. Any suggestions?

    It worked for me - but right now we just have setup 2 win 7 machines for testing and UAC is off (they are both production admin machines in IT). I hope they we will be able to use UAC in a production environment, with 7 it has grown up quite a bit.

    New client is available on the support site. It does work and seems to provision properly.

    We have updated the server and our clients to the new version. No problems with the client running on 7, but wont provision.

    EDIT:: 11/24/09 - Re-worded, and corrected.

    I've been unable to provision to any of our Windows 7 clients and I'm currently working with support on the matter. Do you guys run 32-bit, 64-bit or both? Do you have UAC enabled or disabled?

    Running Windows 7 x64 for my work machine. The kbox agent at least appears to be working correctly now, but none of my managed installs are working with it.
