License question

I have a quick question before I start to read through the complete Administrator's guide:

In the K1000 Management Appliance, all my computers will be in the inventory. So I will need a license for, let's say, 150 computers.

Now for the K2000, I understood that it's for depoying Operating Systems and drivers.
Does all my 150 computers need to be connected to this service?

When I install a new computer through the K2000, then I think I will have a maximum of 10 computers connected. I will never install more than 10 computers at the same time.

So, if I buy a license for the K2000 Deployment Appliance, is it enough to buy 10 licenses, or do I need to buy liceses for the total amount of computers I have (150 in this case)?

The way that the licensing works with the K2000 is that you need to be licensed for your total number of "potential" machines. The cost price per node reflects the difference between the K1 (full time management) and the K2 (typically less usage). Your Dell KACE account manager can provide you with a quote.

To be honest Torgal, I am surprised you haven't received a quote as of yet. We usually provide pricing guidelines at the start of a trial. Have you or your manager inquired into pricing?

No no, it's ok, we have the pricing guidelines, but we couldn't figure out how many licences we need foor the K2000.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
