We have had an increase in the number of devices with Mac OSX running, has anyone succesfully documented and captured 10.9 and deployed to other devices?

As long as a system can netboot to 10.8, then you can use your current version of the K2 to capture/deploy 10.9.

Creation of 10.9 netboot environments will be available in 3.6, due Q1 of 2014.

  • Corey, what is the status of 10.9 netboot? Thanks - mlathrop 10 years ago
    • 3.6 has been released and support 10.9 netboot.
Please note that updating to 3.6 will require reviewing your post install tasks for windows as noted here, http://www.kace.com/support/resources/kb/solutiondetail?sol=SOL118913

      • after upgrade to 3.6 I am having a few post install tasks failing, although not with the conditions outlined in the URL. My office install is simply setup.exe, which now launches Office in repair/remove mode and requires intervention. A registry insertion regedit.exe /reg:64 /s example.reg fails and Windows update is attempting to run during Task Manager activity.

I am also noticing added tasks for UAC, which I turn off in thesetup xml, and is hung on rename workstation task - mlathrop 10 years ago
