Managed Installations have no error checking? Software always added to inventory even on error.

I have a Cisco Secure Endpoint - Managed Installation, and if it runs right after reimaging a computer, it exits with status code 16019, because windows update hasn't run yet.  But Kace can't seem to tell, and adds it to the inventory anyway.  It seems like there's no error checking at all?

It will still keep trying after every inventory, but it seems like the inventory is unreliable if it's connected with a Managed Installation.

A common sense approach would be to run Windows update first before trying to install the application then, surely? Alternatively create a script to do the checks and use that instead of the managed installation.

its not unusual for an image or scripted installation to require updates and sometimes you have to adjust how you deploy to make up for that.
