Managing Cisco Anyconnect VPN Clients through SCCM 2012 System Center Confiuration Manager

Just wondering if anybody has any clarity on this one. Via SCCM 2012 I have been asked to support clients over Cisco Anyconnect VPN. I have added the vpn subnets as a boundry and added them to boundry groups in SCCM but the client will not recieve advertised deployments or doesn't seem to have connectivity. I cant ping or remote desktop to the vpn subnet so I can't see if the machine internally.

I'm quite new to the SCCM 2012 System so I have a couple of areas I wan't to investigate and need to know I'm looking in the right area, if anybody can help.

Any firewall ports or policies that need to be in place at a network level to allow clear communication between the management point and the client over vpn?

Any log files I should look at to review connectivity and activity between sccm and client?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Tag overload!! I'm not at all sure this post has anything to do with Security, Server Management, Scripting, Supporting Windows, Software Deployment, Best Practices, Systems Deployment, or Configuration Management!

Also, you have effectively duplicated some tags:
SCCM Client Center, Configuration Manager, System Center Configuration Manager, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). - anonymous_9363 10 years ago
  • Its a vague subject that I can't find any information on other than setup SCCM hey presto it works. I work in a very secure environment and need to check several elements of our setup, not only sccm but AD / server / network management. I assume the whole idea of Tags is to open it up to a wider experienced audience searching under certain categories. - sonik777 10 years ago
