Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributablewhen i am installing through vc_red.msi it is showing network error.

have you tried copying the msi locally before installing?

Can you post exactly what the error is and what command line arguments you are using?

Another version with the same package code is already installed on the machine. Check it out.

Put that msi in your C:\ drive directly and try to install it..

The problem is, you haven't downloaded the offline installer ;)
