Hey guys,

So  through the course of MS Office 2010 customization, I attempted to add some values to the registry through OCT -> Add Registry Entries because I needed some value to be added to Office under Add/Remove program and I can't figure why I keep getting error 1406: Setup cannot write the value XYZ to the registry when I know I have sufficient permissions to access/edit the registry on my machine. (I went gpedit.msc from cmd and enabled full access to reg)

Here is the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Office14.PROPLUSSUB

Datatype: REG_SZ

However, Im not really trying to add but more like modify the already existing "Display Name" value by adding the package code at the end of the "Display Name" and so this is how im getting this error message
