need vmware driver for win 7 guest

[align=left][font="times new roman"]I am trying to deploy a win7 32 bit image via kace 2000 ver 3.2.3 and it is not loading a NIC driver in the KBE

process. I tried what this page http://itninja.com/question/kbe-error-unable-to-determine-kbox-ip-address&mpage=1&key=&#65538 suggested

but to no avail.

TIA

Have you tried the driver pack on the suport site? I refered to it in that link you posted, but here's the URL: http://www.kace.com/support/kb/index.php?action=artikel&cat=70&id=1020&artlang=en
The VM drivers are in there, load them into your driver share in the KBOX_WINPE3 folders and then recache and rebuild your KBE. Should boot right up.

[align=left][font="times new roman"]Chris - I'm pretty certain that I have followed the instructions and I still have no luck. I have included a screen shot indicating that at least one of the VM NIC drivers is in the cache. I rebuilt the KBE after waiting about 30 minutes after starting the reload cache. There is a link to VMware about using vmxnet driver, so I have modified the vmx file for this guest to use that driver. Here is the link: http://communities.vmware.com/thread/223674. Also I have 12 Win7 guests that are working successfully with this driver.

TIA,
Nat

[align=left][font="times new roman"]So it turns out that the download from KACE does not include the vmxnet driver, so to resolve the from I had to upload the vmxnet driver from an existing guest that had the vmware tools installed, then rebuild the KBE environment and now I'm good to go.

The tip for that came from this site:
