OEM Windows Deployment using SCCM 2012
I know that when it comes to licensing terms that this is a touchy subject but here is the deal. We have hundreds of Dell Laptops (all the same model) that are at the end of the lease and since we are going One2One with our students we are going to return the laptops. The problem is they want the laptops back to the factory OEM windows installation. I have been trying to find some detail information on how to create a task sequence to do this using the OEM Windows disc but all I get is bits and pieces of information and most of that is that it is against licensing when technically it is not. I am just trying to save myself the pain of having to use a disc on hundreds of laptops.
This would be Windows 7 Pro SP1 OEM x64 and I have a SCCM2012 server that I use to image our volume licensed Windows 7 and 10. I also have the MDT installed to the SCCM Console if that helps. I will not be joining any domain and just needs to be default out of the factory windows installed to a generic workgroup or whatever.
Hoping someone has done this before and could be of help.

Suuuuucks! Mate, try and pay your way out of that if you can.
What you can do is build the laptop with the OEM media from your SCCM, try and do this without entering a serial, or if you can try and use the generic key (if possible??). That would leave it eval mode or in a mode that states the key is not valid.
Next, this is not the cool part. You can use the MS scripts to change the key and activate it with the OEM key slapped on the back of the laptop.
Bit crap I know, but not really a way out of it - unless all your OEM keys are the same, which i doubt.
