Patch Installation Progress and Critical Patch Compliance widgets on the K1000 dashboard

I was wondering what the Patch Installation Progress and Critical Patch Compliance widgets on the K1000 dashboard gets there information from. I have no particular reason to doubt what they are showing me but I am sometimes asked where the data they display comes from.

There are queries running at various intervals that are used to populate the dashboards.  Some queries are more resource-intensive than others and so they run less frequently.  Therefore the data in the dashboard my not be current "up-to-the-minute", but it will be very recent (less than 12 - 24 hours old, certainly).
