Patchmanagement Software Installers not very recent

Hello,

just a quick question.
I thought it would be pretty convenient to just use installers of the patch management repository.
Now I found that most of them are quite outdated, like VMWare Workstation 10 is the latest version I could find in there.
Is there any known reason to this?

Thanks in advance

patch management does a detect to see what software is installed and get the needed update/patches for that software.  If you do not have a box with versions of vmware other then 10 that patch detection has run on, you will not see installers/patches for other versions.

Installers would be also different from patches and based on the release may be old. Most use Distribution or Scripting to push out full version upgrades (v10 to v11...etc) and then use patching (if the software is supported) to go from v10.1 to v10.2 etc). Since the feed is from lumension patches, it would be when they release a new updated version to support int the KBOX feed.
