Problems Deploying Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 using SCCM
Firstly, I have been directed to this section of the forum from this page http://itninja.com/link/windows-media-player-10.x0 - although I dont think Pacakage Development is the correct section! Dont blame me!
I am trying to deploy DNS 10 to about 45 machines. I have got round all the well reported problems with the C++ runtime (the Nuance/Dragon package developers really want shooting - absolutely awful job for anyone other than individual installs for non-business users...).
However, it would appear that Dragon REFUSES to install if any Office applications are running. Has anyone else experienced this? It doesnt appear to even attempt install if winword.exe/excel.exe etc. are running processes. This severely limits the ability to deploy this product to an enterprise and is simply bad package development in this day and age!
Any have any ideas?

For such a limited audience, surely you can email the machine users and ask them to log off before they go home and then push DNS overnight?
