Project 2007 SP2 APPCRASH, while closing first launch
Following behavior observed on Virtual Machine.
Application prompts APPCRASH after closing application only for the first time.
From this onwards application runs smoothly.
Not getting what is exact problem for first launch.
Got this behavior for Windows 7(32-bit and 64-bit) builds.
Application works fine on windows XP.

Try deleting HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Project\Data and letting it recreate itself
It is a compatibility issue..
Run the shortcut or the target exe in Windows XP SP2 or SP3 Compatibility Mode in Windows 7
