Quick Assit

Do you know how to enable Microsoft Quick Assit on KACE SMA ?

Control Panel + General Settings + Device Action:

I am adding an action with the next command Line:

           "%windir%\\system32\\quickassist.exe"

Works on Windows Run, but not on my Kace clients

Any suggestion?

I don’t think you can, looking at the mechanics of a device action, typically you would need to create a custom inventory item that you can then load into a command line as a variable.

With Quick Assist you both seem to have to be online and before the connection is made a random code is generated to enable the connection via the cloud.

The fact that this code can be anything and is generated at the start of the session means you cannot pre program a command line.

Also looking for command lines, Microsoft do not appear to provide any command line that will create a connection, instead relying on the user UI worked from both ends.

It sounds to me like you need to deploy a proper enterprise toolset for remote support, rather than trying to use the free stuff Microsoft think we all need ;o)
