Received Error Code 30088-1021 installing Office 2019 windows

In attempting to install Office 2019 Windows from Kace uploading the files to zip and using managed installations I receive the Error Code 30088-1021(0).  I use setup.exe /configure /fileusedtoconfigureinstall.xml.  Any ideas as to why I get this error.  I have the network connection and I have the space on the machine to install.

  • I'm using a script rather than a Managed Installation and haven't seen that error. However, some machines fail with a 1603 error and I have not figured out why (1603 is a rather generic MSI error). - JasonEgg 3 years ago
  • We have a script option however we would like to be able to show a progress bar. We can't get a progress bar via a script but through a managed installation the Kace Progress bar would pop up. - fleminsa 3 years ago

Try...

In regards to the /configure switch and path, and also the path within the XML file - the paths need to be full paths. The setup borks if you use relative paths I have found.
