redirect to admin page after login

We have a k1000 and k2000.
Local admin login, ssh disabled.
Take the job over from IT who left.
I can login in the k2000 with admin user and pasword without problems.
K1000 is linked with the k2000.

If i loging into k1000.url/admin or adminui? then i get no errors but i  get the login page again.
If i try to login with a incorrect username then i get a message "login or password incorrect" .
So that's mean that the login and password are correct but why do i get the login page over and over again?

First:
1. Delete browser cache and cookies.
2. Then check if you can login with the admin-user or if this also fails.
3. reset admin user using the console with user: netdiag; pass: netdiag
4. if this does not help, contact support

Please be aware that the appliance is on a _REALLY_ old version so you should update asap (it is obvious, that you cannot update when you cannot login as an admin)

    point 1 already try that
    point 2 == fails
    try point 3 with putty butt i know ssh is not enabled.
    if y try to login i get this error

    login as: netdiag
    Using keyboard-interactive authentication.
    Password for netdiag@k1000:
    Using keyboard-interactive authentication.
    pam_login_access: pam_sm_acct_mgmt: netdiag is not allowed to log in from ipadress

    Access denied


    SO how can i login to the console remotly?
    We have a hardware k1000 and 2000.
    Is there a link with the console options and how the connection options are?

    Already thx for helping me out with this?
    • you cannot access this console remotely. It is only for local login (the console is for diagnostics and troubleshooting)
      Connection using a KVM (or monitor, keyboard) locally on the hardware appliance.
      Follow this KB for accessing: https://support.quest.com/kb/117315/
      • and please open a SR on monday (you can write down the SR, so I can have an eye on that)

I try to reset the admin password with klogin_reset but i got this php error

  • I have seen that the appliances are out of service since a long time. I decided to overwrite this for this one issue, an engineer will contact you soon to check. In addition I notified sales for a renew which is nessesary to use the appliances in future. They will also contact you soon.
