Run once key


Can we create 2 stub path in an msi
1 stub path should be for msi and teh other stub path needs to run a vbscript which copies 2 files from appdatafolder\music\xyz
i couldn't do that sucessfully
i tried to run vbs from run once key even then it didnot work
under run once key i'm using the newstring name as script and value as cscript.exe /s "%appdata%\\Music\xyz\\test.vbs"

Can u help me out how to get this done in any way...tell what going wrong....

Yes, you can run two StubPaths, but make sure they are in different Reg hive. If you have created one reghive of [ProductCode] then make another of any other unique name like {runvbs} Any name will also work, not necessarily you have to keep a GUID.

Regarding StubPath. Yes, you can run two StubPaths, but make sure they are in different Reg hive. If you have created one reghive of [ProductCode] then make another of any other unique name like {runvbs}

Any name will also work, not necessarily you have to keep a GUID.

Yes, make sure GUID should be different for both.
