Running script attached to software smart label
Hello,
I am trying to run a software smart label with an online shell script with the hope that as new computers are found with a specific piece of software the script will run and delete the computer from the software list.
The issue that I am running into though is I am receiving the following error "The script could not be run because none of the specified devices were available". The script runs fine with a device smart label so I know the computers are on, so why am I getting this error with the software smart label?

A "software smart label" implies a smart label which is applied to software titles.
A "device smart label" implies a smart label which is applied to devices.
In reality a smart label can apply a label to multiple types of objects, although you can restrict their usage to just computers, software, patches, etc.
I believe you have a label that applies to devices when they have a particular software title installed. Are you calling that a "software smart label"? - chucksteel 3 years ago
