SCCM query to count the number of installation done by a specific PackageID

Hi,

We are deploying applications using the collection settings/packageID (via pxe) but also using the classic method by populating collection targetted by a specific advertisement/packageID.

The current issue I'm facing is that I'm not able to create a query to count the number of installation done by a specific PackageID because the application itself has been deployed or through advertisement or throught the pxe

Have you got an idea (out of software inventory) ?

Have you thought about using the report that inventories the Add/Remove programs? That should have the info you need.

Yes confused what you are trying to accomplish i would go with the reports to see where it is installed or create a Desired Configuration and look to see devices that are compliant.  You can create this on a file/regkey etc if the reports dont have what you need.
