Scripted Installation stuck at Select operating system

I recently created a new iso with slipstreamed windows updates. Would this have an affect on the process? The original scripted install without the slipstreamed updates works just fine. I can click continue and it runs fine, but obviously I'm not gonna want to do that when I start imaging full classrooms.

  • What method you use for deployment...SCCM, WDS/MDT, USB-Stick? - jounijokelainen 9 years ago
  • i am not familiar with k2000 product but the setting that controls the selection of the OS to be installed is in WindowsPE phase Imageinstall\OSimage\InstallFrom\Metadata in the unattended.xml answerfile. Value parameter controls the image to be installed. Value can be name like Windows 7 Enterprise or image number like 1. Check the value of that parameter and try to change it to number 1. • I used the built-in wizard on the k2000 which generates the unattended xml for me. - animerunt 9 years ago
