Secure Browser would not load

Hi,
After two attempts at downloading, installing and attempting to open Secure Browser (Uninstalled both times using Revo Uninstaller on setting 4), after clicking to 'open' Secure Browser, the app would not finish loading, it would utilize >95% of system resources (2GB) but would never display after waiting 5 minutes or more. My system is a Dell Inspiron 9300, WinXP SP3, 2GB RAM, 80GB HDD, AVG 9, Comodo F/W. Can anyone help? Thank you.
Bob

Thanks for trying the product. We have heard from a few other people that are experiencing similar problems. We are trying to narrow on the problem. Can you provide some additional information?

1. Did you already have Firefox loaded on the computer before you installed Secure Browser?
2. If so, did you have addons or anything customized? If so, can you give us a list of the plugins, themes, etc. you are using?
3. Is your computer running Windows XP Professional or Windows XP Home edition?

That should give us some good information to try to reproduce the problem internally. Thanks for your help!

Has any resolution been found for this issue? I too am experiencing the problem rjmat described. Please let me know if I can be of any assistance by providing configuration details.

Initially, I had RealPlayer installed and the browser always hung immediate after being prompted to install (or not install) the plug-in. Since the same result follow each available choice, I uninstalled Real Player. Now firefox.exe simply takes substantial resources until I end the task locally or through the KBOX Admin UI.

Please download our latest release-- though we could not reproduce this, we are hopeful we have accurately identified and corrected this issue: http://itninja.com/question/second-public-release-of-secure-browser-now-available

I'm also having the same problem. I've tried on two computers.

First one, no firefox originally installed, running XP Pro.

The second has the latest version of firefox installed, no extra plugins also running on XP Pro.

Whenever I've tried running it on either machine, CPU usage jumps to 90% and it just sets there till I kill firefox.exe in the taskmanager. I'm using the latest version of Secure Browser (Downloaded 9/21/10)

Can you think of anything about your setup that may help us in replicating your situation? Perhaps some security software?

Both are running AVG 9 Network Edition security. Both are running Windows XP Service Pack 3. Hardware is totally different on both of them, one is a desktop intel dual core, 4 GB RAM, 640 GB Hard drive and one is a laptop Intel I5 4GB RAM, 240 GB Hard drive, both Dell though. Only common program between them is the security program and Microsoft products. Also tried it on a third machine. This one was a HP laptop running Windows 7 Prof. 64 bit with McAfee installed. This machine had firefox 3.6.10 already installed. On installing and running secure browser. Firefox 3.6.8 would start but not virtualized like it was supposed to be.
