Sequencing Java 1.6 with App-V 5.0

Hi,

I sequenced Java 1.6.0_20 on App-V 5.0. And created an IE shortcut on the desktop during the sequencing. When I load it on the client (both locally and globally using power shell) and launch IE for the first time it is asking me for Admin Rights. If I give the admin credentials its working fine and even when I launch it next time, it does not ask for admin rights and works fine. If I click on NO it does not pick the Java. THe IE shortcut is pointed to the right location i.e, ("C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" /appvve:ProductID_VersionID).
Can anybody please let me know what I am doing differently for it to ask for Admin Rights. How can I suppress or disable this.
Thanks in advance.

This sounds like something I was going through as well and after some poking around I got the prompt when IE starts to go away.

1. Edit your AppV package on your Sequencing machine/VM

2. Go to the registry tab in the Sequencer of your app

3. Double-Click the registry key to expand it and show Machine and User

4. Drill down MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Low Rights\Elevation Policy

5. There should be 5 GUIDs in this key

6. I dont have the one you need in front of me but just scroll through them looking at the keys contents on the right and delete the one that contains ssvagent.exe

7. Save your package and test it out!
