Servers patches & Assets management in K1000
Hi,
Right now, I'm using K1000 and K2000 for end users PC's. Now, I want to use K1000 for my servers environment for assets management and patches management by creating a new organization in K1000 for the servers. My questions are:
- Do I need a specific license for this job or I can use the same licenses of PC's. I just install the KACE agent on the servers?
- Dose K1000 supports servers patches?
If there is a specific article from Quest please share the link.

The answer is YES to both questions.
1. contact your preferred sales rep for an license upgrade. (it is free)
2. the SMA supports MacOSX and Windows patching for all currently supported OS

there are two licenses, the single org (you likely have) and the multi org license (you need). - Nico_K 4 years ago
