Software assets and Microsoft agreement?

Am I able to setup our KACE KBOX1100 appliance to deduct software assets from our Microsoft Enterprise Agreement?

For example, we have a request in for 12-15 Office Pro Plus installations.  I want to be able to setup an Asset in KACE for Office Pro Plus and have it deduct from the number of licenses allotted by our Microsoft Enterprise Agreement.  Is this possible or is there a better way?  We primarily need to track all licenses used.

Open to suggestions.

Thanks in advance!

Joe

When you go into your K1000 appliance do the following.

  1. Go to Assets Module
  2. In choose Action drop down > Add New > License
  3. Fill out your license information you want in the resulting screen filling in at least the "License count" ie how many you own, Select from the catalog the software and the "License mode" to be a "Unit license".
  4. This will then allow you to go back to the Assets Module and view installed vs license count.  You can then plan accordingly.  Example below.

Was this what you were asking for?
