Deploying Solidworks 2012-2013 via Group Policy
Anyone tried to deploy this out through Group Policy? I created the mst for the solidworks msi based on what we've used in previous years and this new version doesn't deploy out. I have all the pre-requisites linked up as well. It installs fine when I run the shortcut (which I know doesn't call the mst but at least I know it works that way).

Can you install it running the msi+mst not using Group Policy on a clean computer? I dont know this software but I guess the shortcut installs the msi with properties set as arguments. Verify your mst sets these properties exactly the same way.
Can you make sure your call to MST is correct? Also check for the complete path.

Had to slightly modify the command line that generated the mst. the line I had used in previous years had worked before. must be something slightly different this year. Now works which is the main thing.

Create verbose log as suggested by VBScab and find out the exact cause..
