Surface Pro will not check in

UPDATE: fixed by turning off TPM in bios.

I've just added agent 9.0.181 on a new Surface Pro.  I can't get it to do it's initial check in to show up in the SMA.  I've rebooted, uninstalled Kace agent, reinstalled.

see a line when I do runkbot 4 0 that says: something about bad_mac_ip

Could that be the cause and anyone know how to fix?

Any ideas?

make sure you have enough licenses for agents.

see if the inventory.xml folder in ProgramData\Quest\KACE is populated or empty, if it's empty, you might have an AV issue.

See:

Also if you are still NOT running SMA version 10 see:
