the correct syntax to use on the command line when retrieving a .msp, .exe, or .msi from a shared folder

\\hsnas\b$\Core Installs\Legacy Core Installs\Adobe Acrobat XI Pro NEW\AA Zips\AcrobatUpd11023\AcrobatUpd11023.msp


is the above correctly done?

Try the command like this.

msiexec.exe /p "<full path to the .msp>" /qb

*you can use /qn for silent.

This is assuming the app is installed on the target computer.


If your are using batch, and the batch is in the same folder as the msp, then use the %~dp0 in the batch, this will use the path of the current folder with the msp. Sorry poorly explained but check out the link below and use google.

There are spaces in your path, so you will need to surround it in quotes.
