Touchpad not working in KBE
Recently, we received new laptops, HP X360 830 G8s and previous we've had HP x360 830 G5s and G6s. We are currently on 21H2. On these older laptops the touchpad works, but I don't have prior knowledge of how the boot environment was configured. I am not able to use the touchpad mouse when booting into the KBE on the G8s. I am utilizing Kace Media Manager to upload this KBE to SDA. SDA routes the drivers to \\sda\drivers\kbe_windows_x64. I'm utilizing WindowsADK and WinPE10 for 2004, I've tried Windows adk for Windows 11 as well, but have had no luck. These drivers have since been updated and recached, but I have noticed that in this folder has dell drivers. It seems like I'm missing a minor detail in this process that's causing this.

KBE are static entities, once you build one it will always use whatever drivers WERE in \\sda\drivers\kbe_windows_x64 when it was created.
So a new KBE is in order, you might want to check HP websites, for enterprise drivers or the one for that particular model.
And see if they have a driver pack for WindowsPE 10, for that particular model.
Add them (uncompressed) to that folder \\sda\drivers\kbe_windows_x64
Re-cache all drivers (from Settings > Appliance maintenance) --Optional Step--
And build a new KBE with Media Manager.

Second year of deploying the same exact model HP notebook (HP Elitebook x360 830 G8). Last year I didn't make the time to deal with the inconvenience of the touchpad not working in WinPE environment, so we used USB mice to image with. This year, I took some time to figure it out. I'm using WindowsADK and WinPE10 for 2004. In the \\sda\drivers\kbe_windows_x64, replace with the HP WinPE drivers from here:

Then, rebuild your KBE with the SDA Media Manager. Then it should work. I just did this about an hour ago to confirm.
