Tracking Adobe Products via Labels

Does anyone know a way to track Adobe products in a suite vs. standalone? I have an issue where I have Adobe Creative Suite 4/5 (Acrobat 9, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator) being detected by my standalone labels.

User A - Adobe Acrobat 9

User B - Adobe Acrobat 9

User C - Adobe Creative Suite 4

Label: Adobe Creative Suite 4 (1)

Label: Adobe Acrobat 9 (3)

The Acrobat 9 finds both the standalone and the package. Is there a way to tell the difference?

If I understand correctly you're looking for a smart label that tracks adobe suite products? If you want you can create one in the software assets where the display name looks for both adobe and suite so you should only get software back that has both of those in the titles, so you won't see other programs like Acrobat, and what not.

  • The problem is that the standalone Acrobat and the suite-based Acrobat are being discovered by the KBOX instead of associating them differently. Acrobat comes with the suite so its finding suite properly but the standalone label is also picking up the software under the suite.
