Uefi style disk partitioning for windows 10
Hi guys.
For windows 7 scripted install, I had 2 partitions....c: and d:
Now I want to create a win 10 scrip[ted install on our new 2017
machines. I was told I should have "uefi" partitions.
Is this necessary ? What if I had a regular partions of C and D:?
without any of the hidden partitions that uefi creates. will
it affect my win 10 performance ?
I tried to use this modified uefi partition diskpart script in the k2.....
to create a C: with 150 gigs,and the rest as D
Select disk 0
Clean
Convert gpt
Create partition efi size=200
Assign letter=s
Format quick fs=FAT32
Create partition msr size=128
Create partition primary size=153600
Assign letter=c
Format quick fs=NTFS
Create partition primary
Assign letter=d
Format quick fs=NTFS
Exit
but the installation fails with an error saying "Windows cannot locate the disk and partition
specified in the unattend answer file's < ImageInstall> setting".
Can someone please give me a Uefi diskpart script to create a C:= 150 gigs.
While D: gets whats left.

Install windows via Scripted Installation or DVD.
Customize your Image as desired.
Boot to a K2 KBE, and capture C: and S: drives.
With C and S, you can use Create UEFI partitions (pre install task) and Apply UEFI partitons (mid level task) to deploy UEFI Images.
