Unable to Managed Install a MSI

I am at my ends with K1000 as I cannot understand how this is not working.

I am trying to deploy a MSI as I have done so in the past. When I deploy to a test client... Kace console states that the software was installed successfully.. though it is not. It even states it is installed on the client machine via the inventory of the client machine. I do not even see the MSI downloaded to the Dell Kace folder.

Current Version: 6.3.113397

Agent: 6.3.306

  • Do you have the box checked to delete download files? I normally uncheck it when testing managed installs so I can debug issues like this.

Add the switch to your command line to create a verbose log of the installation. That will tell you definitively if the product was installed or not. Search the log for 'Return value 3'. If you find that, the half-dozen lines or so above will contain a clue as to what went wrong.
