Software Deployment

Our client is moving away from Unicenter as their only application deployment tool.  We are in the early phases of upgrading their infrastructure from XP to Windows 10.  As this will take some time (including providing them with SCCM) and they need to move away from unicentre immediately, what are our options to deploy applications in the interim, as well as patch deployment etc?  Also, what application formats (.msi, .exe, etc) does unicentre require to deploy  applications successfully.  I ask this as we do not yet know what format the estates applications are in as yet
