Updating Office 365 on Semi Annual Enterprise Channel

I was looking at KACE patching and noticed that Semi Annual Enterprise Preview was available for Office365 but not the normal Semi Annual Enterprise Channel as an "Update" category.  Is there a good practice to updating office365 from 2008 to 2108 Semi Annual Enterprise Channel (as an example)? Or do we have to do a full roll out?
