VK2000 SDA Migration 7.0.357 to 8.0.194
I'm trying to use the migration tool to migrate from 7.0.357 to 8.0.194. It doesn't seem to be working. It this jump too big, version-wise?
If so, will doing a manual migration work for 8.0?

this is not supported.
The migration needs to be done against an SDA on the same version.

Thank you. That's the problem. The older box has the small var and tmp partition problem so I can't upgrade it in place.
I will do a manual migration.

if you were to contact support, they could clear /var to make it upgradable again.
(just avoid waiting too much time to upgrade, after the job is done).
NOTE: versions +7.2 will auto clean /var from time to time, to prevent this from happening ever again. - Channeler 3 years ago
