1. download the .exe (for instance from the patch catalog of the SMA 10.0 or newer or directly from vmware the iso file you need to extract)
2. create a label with all virtual devices
3. create a MI with the extracted exe file with the parameters: /s /v “/qn reboot=r” (for example: VMware-tools-11.0.5-15389592-x64.exe /s /v “/qn reboot=r” )
4. enable the MI and add the right label to it.
5. you are done
