  • Step 1. Make sure you have a COPY of the source files
    • Thanks a lot I'm going through that and i'm having a doubt what are the different types of applications that we'll get in general and how to deal with them.
  • I came to know that i have to check whether the source that is exe have msi in it or not and i'm a bit confused about how well come to know by opening it with winrar
im didn't understand the second step that is if i try to install the exe with/? i'll get parameters and how cum i know whether it is having msi or not

Please help me because i'm new to this please friends.

  • Thank you jagadeish.
A small doubt after creating transform i'll do all customization in MST and installl that MSt along with the msi through msiexec/i (path of msi) TRANSFORMS = (path of mst)

Then what i have to do, i mean what i have to give to the vendor, both the msi and mst.
  • Yes.. here, the deliverables would be Vendor MSI along with the created MST..
