What are the pre req's for provisioning the agent to Windows 2000 pro pc's
Ive tried to provision the agent to several Windows 2000 pc's with no luck. Are there any tips or tricks to installing on Windows 2000?

Is the 5.4 agent compatible with 2000? I thought it was just the 5.3?

W2k is not supported with 5.4, this is correct.

go to the k1000 release archive and scroll down to 5.3.53177 folder

You can also ask the support, while they create your credentials to download the needed file.
I do it regulary ;)
But I _REALLY_ suggest to throw W2k away as it is no more patched and there are security holes which can compromise the full company. - Nico_K 10 years ago

I havent been able to find that out yet. Ive looked in the admin guide and it says it works on windows 2000.. but it doesnt say what version of the agent or how to prep the pc. (like it does for XP ie simple file sharing off...)
