Why when starting a VPN session or runing apps in Citrix, does my 3G disconnect?
I have a Dell E6400 with built in Dell Wireless 5720 VZW Mobile Broadband (EDVO Rev-A) Minicard. Once connected to 3G, if I try to start a VPN session it automatically disconnects 3G. Also just being logged into Citrix everything is fine and dandy, but when I try to run any applications again I'm getting disconnected from 3G. I have uninstalled Dell Control Point, and that has helped a little.

One other thing that may help is under the propreties of the NIC find the Power Management tab and uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
