WIM Disaster - No images can deploy

Hi,

I've been using the same images for base Windows 7 for a while with no problem and what seems like suddenly yesterday (something must have changed but I don't know what) no WIM's will deploy. All the pre-install tasks for creating and formatting the disks all seems to go OK but as soon as it's starts applying the 100mb C: partition, it fails after 1% but the errors disappear so quickly I don't really get a chance to see them. On reviewing the logs in T:\ImageStore though it always refers to either D:\ being not ready or Access is Denied. It happens on applying C: though so not sure why it says D is not accessible.

I re-captured brand new WIM's today, thinking they'd somehow become corrupt and also re-created all pre-installation tasks by hand...same result. I cannot deploy any WIM on any machine due to the same error.

Anyone seen this or know how to help? Thanks

Thanks for the advice guys. Contacted Dell support and like you said, they were quite good. Although they were unable to access my Kbox remotely and so have sent me the ISO file to re-image and start over. Only had the Kbox about a month...hopefully this is a one off.

And now my whole K2000 unit is dying. The library overview screen is blank, the source media screen doesn't load at all. Sigh.

I would get in touch with Kace support immediately. If this is a device failure issue, they are the ones to talk too.

I would be one the phone, that is what we pay for.  They have some off the best support technicians I have ever worked with.   I think Dugullett is on the right track disk space or raid failure

This just seems like a partitioning issue and making sure that your templates are setup correct.

The library page going blank (white), etc is a permissions/mysql issue, you need support to get in to fix that for you.
